One of the most notable programs is the Launch1000 program, which was established in 2020 in response to the significant economic disruption caused by COVID-19, with the goal of enabling 1,000 Westchester residents to start a business or develop an income stream for themselves and their families. Quiick Briick was one of the success stories of this program and was able to complete the cohort and received the county grant.

Another notable competition is the Lehman College Blackstone Launchpad-Ideas competition, where one of our team members, Jessica Brewington, took home the first place prize in the preliminary round, securing a spot for the grand prize for a startup grant.

Quiick Briick also participated in Kiva.org and was able to raise funds for the business in just 8 days of launching their campaign. These programs and competitions have provided us with valuable resources, mentorship and networking opportunities that have helped us to bring our idea to reality and be a competitive player in the sustainable housing market.
